From May 11–19, 2027, a small group of adventurous travelers will set off together without knowing where in the world they’re headed. We’ll take care of the details—including roundtrip international airfare from our designated U.S. gateway, premium accommodations, transportation, curated experiences, meals, and special surprises along the way.

As departure approaches, we’ll provide everything you need to prepare: where and when to meet us, what to pack, important travel requirements, and any other essential information—while carefully protecting the secret.

What awaits is a thoughtfully curated blend of culture, incredible food, beautiful accommodations, meaningful local experiences, exploration, and signature Haitian Nomad moments you won't find on a typical itinerary.

This Mystery Trip is rated Moderate. The journey is designed to be comfortable and accessible for most travelers with a reasonable level of mobility, while still allowing us to fully explore and experience the destination.

🚶 Moderate Walking
Expect periods of walking throughout the trip, including guided sightseeing, cultural sites, local neighborhoods, and other immersive experiences. Some days will involve more walking than others.

🪜 Stairs & Uneven Surfaces
Travelers should be comfortable navigating occasional stairs, cobblestones, uneven pavement, and historic areas where elevators, escalators, or perfectly smooth pathways may not always be available.

🧳 Moving Between Locations
This is an immersive journey rather than a stay-at-one-resort vacation. We'll travel between different locations during the trip, which may involve changing hotels and using a combination of private vehicles and other forms of transportation.

⏰ Full Days of Exploration
Some days may begin early or include several scheduled experiences. We carefully balance sightseeing with meals, relaxation, and downtime, but travelers should be prepared for a few full and active days.

💪 No Special Athletic Ability Required
You do not need to be particularly athletic to enjoy this trip. There are no strenuous hikes or extreme physical activities required as part of the core itinerary. Travelers should, however, be able to comfortably walk for extended periods and keep pace with the group.

♿ Mobility Considerations
This itinerary may not be appropriate for travelers who require significant mobility assistance. Because revealing specific accessibility conditions could provide clues about our destination, we encourage anyone with mobility concerns to contact our team privately before booking so we can determine whether the trip is suitable without compromising the mystery.

Overall, expect an experience that is active enough to truly explore our mystery destination, but thoughtfully paced enough to enjoy the journey along the way.

Haitian Nomad LLC plans epic trips and provides experiences through travel around the world. This international travel policy is intended to promote the health, safety, and security of all attendees of Haitian Nomad LLC trips while traveling abroad and domestically.  

Policy  

This International Travel Policy outlines the requirements with regard to: (A) travel abroad insurance; and (B) cancellation and refund policy.  

(A) Travel Abroad Health Insurance

All Haitian Nomad LLC trip attendees are NOT covered under any health, life, liability insurance policy paid for by Haitian Nomad LLC.

All individuals traveling on Haitian Nomad LLC trips are required to have travel abroad insurance coverage from an insurance carrier of your choice. Travel insurance ensures your trip is protected in the event of an unexpected cancellation OR in the event of a medical emergency overseas.   

Verification of Health Insurance & Acknowledgment of Release 

I represent and warrant that I have appropriate medical, health and personal injury insurance. As such, is relying on my representations and warranties, and neither the Haitian Nomad LLC will be liable or required to provide me with insurance coverage. I am further aware that any medical, health and/ or personal injury costs resulting from or relating to the activities undertaken pursuant to this Program will be my sole responsibility.

U.S. regulations allow you 24 hours to cancel your booking for a full refund. Should you need to cancel for any reason after 24hrs from booking, all payments will be final, non-refundable, non-transferable. & no credits issued per the nature of this trip and Flights being non-refundable/non-transferable. It is advised that you purchase travel insurance immediately after booking to protect you in case of any unforeseen cancellation or accident. Additionally, you are solely responsible for securing your international flights, failure to do so and waiting until the last minute usually results in higher fares for which Haitian Nomad isn't liable and any cancellation as a result will not result in any credits or refunds.  

Haitian Nomad LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip due to extenuating circumstances.    

Fees: On the 5th day of non-payment, you will automatically be charged a $50 late fee. Your booking will be automatically canceled due to non-payment  after missing 2 monthly installments and all previously made payments will be forfeited.  Setting payment reminders remain your sole responsibility and in no way is Haitian Nomad LLC responsible for payment reminders.  

As a participant on any Haitian Nomad trip, it is your responsibility to make sure you are in compliance with all country, airline or vendor requirements including vaccines and other documents. No refund or credit will be issued if you fail to obtain the required documents or if there’s a sudden change in country/airline requirements resulting in your cancellation.  

All requests for cancellation must be received in writing via email at haitiannomad@gmail.com. Cancellations cannot be made online.

Payment Dispute & Chargeback Policy
By submitting payment to Haitian Nomad LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Agreement to Terms Before Payment

All payments made to Haitian Nomad LLC are subject to our published Cancellation Policy, Travel Policy, and Terms & Conditions. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms prior to submitting payment.

2. Non-Refundable Nature of Payments

After the 24-hour grace period permitted under U.S. regulations (where applicable), all payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and final unless otherwise stated in writing by Haitian Nomad LLC.

Travel insurance is required specifically to protect your investment in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

3. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a traveler initiates a credit card dispute, chargeback, or payment reversal for a charge that was properly authorized and processed in accordance with our terms:

• Haitian Nomad LLC reserves the right to immediately cancel the traveler’s booking.

• The traveler forfeits participation in the trip.

• The traveler remains financially responsible for the full balance due under the booking agreement.

• Any recovery fees, legal fees, administrative costs, or chargeback penalties incurred by Haitian Nomad LLC may be pursued and added to the outstanding balance.

Submitting a chargeback does not void or cancel the contractual agreement agreed to at booking.

4. Good Faith Resolution Requirement

Before initiating any dispute with a financial institution, travelers agree to first contact Haitian Nomad LLC directly to attempt a good faith resolution.

We are committed to professionalism and transparency and will always review concerns fairly and promptly.

5. Fraudulent or Improper Disputes

Filing a dispute for a charge that was knowingly authorized, contractually agreed to, and compliant with our cancellation terms may constitute breach of contract.

Haitian Nomad LLC reserves the right to provide:

• Signed agreements

• IP address records

• Payment authorizations

• Timestamped booking confirmations

• Communication records

to the financial institution as evidence of a valid transaction.

We require everyone to carry travel insurance on all Haitian Nomad trips. This protects you in case of emergency or in case you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

You will NOT be able to get any refund or credits from Haitian Nomad should you need to cancel past 24hrs after booking.

Visas are not required for US Citizens for our mystery destination OR is available as visa on arrival. It remains the responsibility of each individual traveler to ensure they meet the entry requirements of their chosen destination. This includes but is not limited to vaccination status and travel documentation. Please be aware that should you fail to meet these requirements or are denied entry into a country, we are unable to issue refunds, credits, or facilitate trip transfers. While Haitian Nomad no longer mandates COVID-19 vaccination for our travelers, it remains the responsibility of each individual traveler to ensure they meet the entry requirements of their chosen destination. This includes but is not limited to vaccination status, COVID-19 testing, quarantine regulations, and travel documentation. Please be aware that should you fail to meet these requirements or are denied entry into a country, we are unable to issue refunds, credits, or facilitate trip transfers. We offer two accommodation options to suit your travel style and comfort needs:    

1. Single Occupancy Rooms: If you treasure privacy, are a light sleeper, or have specific sleep-related preferences, this is the ideal choice for you. Our single rooms provide a tranquil, personal environment, typically featuring a queen or king-size bed. This option is particularly recommended for those who may be sensitive to noises like snoring, or who prefer not to be disturbed.   
 

2. Double Occupancy Rooms: This budget-friendly option allows travelers to share a room with another trip participant. We always aim for rooms with two twin or queen beds. However, due to varying global hotel standards, we cannot guarantee the availability of two separate beds in every location. There is a possibility of needing to share a bed. We emphasize that if you have concerns about sharing sleeping space, particularly if you are a light sleeper or have specific needs or sensitivities, it's advisable to choose a single room or upgrade your booking promptly. This ensures we can accommodate your request for an additional room, as we are unable to make changes to rooming arrangements during the trip.

Our Mystery Trip package includes roundtrip economy-class airfare from our designated U.S. gateway. For travelers interested in upgrading their experience, we plan to offer the opportunity to request a Business Class upgrade, subject to availability.

Once the airline provides us with confirmed Business Class upgrade pricing, we will notify all registered guests and provide instructions for requesting an upgrade.

Business Class upgrades will be optional, available at an additional cost, and subject to airline availability at the time of confirmation. We recommend responding promptly once upgrade options are announced, as premium-cabin availability may be limited.
