Who is this trip for?

✨ Travelers Who Appreciate Elevated Experiences

If you value thoughtful details, well-paced days, beautiful settings, and seamless logistics, this trip was created with you in mind. It blends luxury and comfort with intention, allowing you to experience Thailand without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

🍜 Food Lovers & Flavor Explorers

For travelers who believe food is one of the best ways to understand a culture. From Bangkok’s street food scene to hands-on cooking in Chiang Mai, this trip celebrates flavor, technique, and the cultural stories behind each dish.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Wellness-Minded Guests

Those who appreciate moments of rest, reflection, and restoration will find balance here. With dedicated spa time, slower cultural days, and calm settings in Northern Thailand, this trip creates space to recharge — especially after a high-energy New Year’s celebration.

🎆 New Year’s Eve Celebrators Looking for Something Different

If you want to welcome the new year in a way that feels memorable, meaningful, and beautifully elevated — not just another party — this journey offers the perfect blend of celebration, atmosphere, and intention.

Who This Trip is not for

❌ Travelers Seeking a Party-Only Experience

While New Year’s Eve is celebrated in an elevated and exciting way, this trip is not centered around nightlife, club-hopping, or constant late nights. The experience is thoughtfully paced and balanced with culture, wellness, and reflection.

❌ Those Wanting a Pure Beach Vacation

This journey focuses on cities, culture, cuisine, and meaningful experiences rather than beach lounging or resort-only days. Travelers looking primarily for swim-up bars and beach clubs may find this itinerary isn’t the right fit.

❌ Guests Who Prefer Fully Unstructured Travel

While we intentionally include free time, this is a curated group experience with guided tours, shared moments, and planned activities. If you prefer planning every detail independently with no group touchpoints, this trip may feel too structured.

❌ Travelers Uncomfortable With Cultural or Ethical Experiences

Experiences such as temple visits, cultural storytelling, and ethical wildlife encounters are core to this journey. If these elements don’t interest you or feel outside your comfort zone, this may not be the ideal trip.

❌ Those Expecting Extreme Adventure or High-Intensity Activities

This itinerary prioritizes comfort, accessibility, and immersion over physically demanding or adrenaline-driven activities. Guests seeking hiking-heavy, extreme sports, or fast-paced adventure travel may prefer a different style of trip.

❌ Anyone Unwilling to Travel With Curiosity and Respect

This trip is designed for travelers who approach new cultures with openness, patience, and consideration. Those not comfortable adapting to local customs, group dynamics, or different ways of life may not fully enjoy the experience.

Trip Activity level

This trip is designed with a moderate, well-balanced activity level, thoughtfully paced to combine exploration with ample time to rest and recharge.

Most days include light walking, cultural sightseeing, and guided experiences at a comfortable pace. Activities such as city tours, temple visits, markets, and food experiences are accessible to most travelers and do not require a high level of physical fitness.

Wellness and relaxation are intentionally built into the itinerary, including spa time, unstructured downtime, and slower moments in Chiang Mai to balance more energetic days in Bangkok — especially around the New Year’s Eve celebration.

This journey is ideal for travelers who enjoy being active without feeling rushed or physically strained. While the trip involves moving between cities and occasional early mornings, it does not include strenuous hikes, extreme activities, or demanding physical challenges.

Overall, expect a comfortable, culturally immersive experience that prioritizes enjoyment, ease, and thoughtful pacing over intensity.

Room Options

We offer two accommodation options to suit your travel style and comfort needs:

1. Single Occupancy Rooms: If you treasure privacy, are a light sleeper, or have specific sleep-related preferences, this is the ideal choice for you. Our single rooms provide a tranquil, personal environment, typically featuring a queen or king-size bed. This option is particularly recommended for those who may be sensitive to noises like snoring, or who prefer not to be disturbed.

2. Double Occupancy Rooms: This budget-friendly option allows travelers to share a room with another trip participant. We always aim for rooms with two twin or queen beds. However, due to varying global hotel standards, we cannot guarantee the availability of two separate beds in every location. There is a possibility of needing to share a bed. We emphasize that if you have concerns about sharing sleeping space, particularly if you are a light sleeper or have specific needs or sensitivities, it's advisable to choose a single room or upgrade your booking promptly. This ensures we can accommodate your request for an additional room, as we are unable to make changes to rooming arrangements during the trip.

For guests traveling alone, Haitian Nomad offers the option to book double occupancy accommodations at a lower cost by sharing a room with another solo traveler. While we do our best to pair guests with a roommate of the same gender, we cannot guarantee same-gender pairings, as this depends entirely on the rooming mix of the group.

If you prefer not to share a room with someone of the opposite gender, we strongly recommend selecting the single occupancy option at the time of booking to ensure your privacy and comfort.

By selecting a double occupancy option, you acknowledge and accept that your roommate may be of a different gender if no same-gender pairing is available.

Our goal is to provide every guest with a comfortable and enjoyable experience — and having clarity about rooming expectations helps us do just that.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey, please select your accommodation type based on your personal comfort requirements and sleeping habits. Our aim is to provide a memorable and hassle-free travel experience for all our guests!

The experience is interactive and approachable, making it enjoyable for both confident home cooks and beginners alike. As dishes come together, the class naturally turns social, ending with a shared meal where everyone enjoys what they’ve created.
