Held in Taipei, this is Asia’s largest Pride Parade, drawing tens of thousands of participants from around the globe to join in the vibrant festivities.
We start the day by gathering at Ketagalan Boulevard, where a sea of rainbow flags and colorful outfits will greet us. The atmosphere is electric, filled with music, cheers, and an overwhelming sense of unity. People of all backgrounds, ages, and identities come together, proudly displaying their individuality while embracing the collective spirit of Pride.
As the parade begin, we march through the lively streets of Taipei alongside a diverse crowd of participants, including local activists, LGBTQ+ organizations, families, and allies. The parade route is lined with enthusiastic spectators, cheering and waving flags in support. The energy is contagious, with participants dancing, singing, and sharing moments of joy and solidarity.
